Julia Forsyth Art Camp FAQ

I’m so excited to offer one week of Art Camp at the McKinney Art House.  This will be my 3rd week teaching art camp here, and each session I’ve taught has always sold out.  It’s lots of fun, and the art students learn lots about art techniques, art history, and the joy of being an artist while they make new friends!

The photos below are my teacher examples of what we’ve worked on in the past during Art Camp Week.
Where is it?

It’s at the in downtown McKinney at the McKinney Art House, 502 N. Kentucky St., McKinney TX 75069.  It’s one block from the downtown McKinney Public Library.

How many days is each camp session?

-Each camp session is Monday – Thursday.

What time is it?

It’s 1-3 PM.

What's the date?

TBD, usually the week before or after July 4.  I’ll update closer to camp time.

I want my child and another child to attend the same week. Can you hold spots?

It’s first come, first serve, and your check you send to me reserves your spot.  Unfortunately, I can’t reserve spots.

What age is it for?

It’s for 6-year-olds through 14-year-olds.

Do I send my check to you or to the Art House?

Send me a private message and I’ll send you my address.

What if I still want my child to attend your camp but it fills up?

I make a waiting list in case someone drops out at the last minute.  I’ll contact you asap if that happens.

What projects will the students be working on?

It changes every year, but I try to do 1 clay project, 1 painting project, and 1 collage/mixed media project.
